Spencer-Bannerman M1896 slide action 12 gauge shotgun. Marked on top of barrel "SPENCER RPTG.SHOT GUN PAT.APL.1882" and on side of frame "F BANNERMAN MANUFACTURER.NEW YORK.U.S.A./MODEL 1896". 30" barrel with silvered twist finish, other metal parts are silver from having been lightly cleaned. Stocks are good, with a long, worn scratch in the right side of the fore grip, several old grain cracks in the pistol grip area and a couple old, worn bruises to the butt. Appears to be mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
