Fancy German double barrel shotgun by H. Westphal in Peine, as marked on barrels. Also marked "KRUPP STAHL" across barrel breeches. Serial number 1057. 16 gauge, 30" barrels. Nicely engraved metal parts with medium gray patina and scattered light pitting on barrels. Stock has been sanded with frame tangs somewhat proud to the wood, still shows checkered wrist and forearm, has a deep gouge/chip in left side of butt and expected handling marks overall. Horn forearm barrel release. One screw missing from triggerguard. Action cocks, but firing pins don't seem to come through when triggers are pulled. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
