Parker Brothers fancy grade damascus hammered double. Serial number 31815. 28" barrels, 12 gauge. Engraved on locks "PARKER BROS" and marked on barrel rib "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL." Barrels have visible damascus finish with a medium patina overall. Locks are engraved with field scenes and birds, underside of frame has a large vignette of a bird in the field. Stocks are well-worn with high quality fan-shaped grain to butt, Wood has numerous minor handling marks with little nicks in the forearm edges, as a crack below and above the left lock. Original hard rubber pistol grip cap and buttplate. Has a small chip in the toe of butt and tip of buttplate. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
