Winchester M1873 .32-20 lever action rifle. Serial number 392965, made in 1891. 26" octagon barrel. Full, clear markings, including caliber marking on bottom of cartridge elevator. Metal parts are a pleasing medium patina overall with some areas of strong original blue finish, particularly on the frame. Stock has a very attractive grain but was unfortunately broken and repaired in the wrist. Has a grain crack along bottom of forearm. Overall exhibits smooth wear from use with scattered minor marks, a chip to the forearm corner at left rear, and a chip at the front of the buttstock comb. Lever latch is absent. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
