"Trapdoor" style cadet training rifle. 30-1/2" primarily wooden "barrel" with metal muzzle section. "Boxlock" type action with functional hammer and latching breech that looks like it may have been used to pop caps. Stock is very good, being free of cracks, with the original finish partially flaked off. Hammer functions.
