C1860 percussion curly maple halfstock smooth rifle. Unmarked. 30-3/4" octagon barrel of about .46 caliber. Metal parts have a medium patina overall with some pitting in the bolster area. Curly maple halfstock has an added finish and attractive grain overall. has some filled small chips in the lock mortise, and a crack by the lock screw opposite the lock. Mechanically good, but only functions when the trigger is set then cocking the hammer, and does not have half cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
