Connecticut Valley Arms "Mountain" rifle. Marked .50 Cal, Black Powder Only and Made in USA. Serial number 3727. 32" octagon barrel. Gun has a vintage look with uneven brown finish on the barrel, muted case colors on the lock, added engraving to other metal parts with some oil finish present. Stock appears to be decoratively woodburned to simulate an antique appearance. Needs sights, barrel key, ramrod, and ramrod rib to complete. Lock functions, triggers work as standard trigger but not set trigger. We are not gunsmiths and do not warrant this gun to shoot safely. Please seek guidance from an expert in blackpowder gunsmithing if unsure about the safety and management of this rifle.
