US M1814 rifle for restoration. Identified by its part octagon, part round barrel. Original length 33-1/2" barrel converted to percussion, stock shortened to just in front of lower barrel band. Nice original rear sight, triggerguard, buttplate, sideplate, and patchbox cover all with dark rust patina. Has a nice lockplate with brass pan that could be ground down to fit for restoration. Stock is heavily marked from handling and has a piece missing to right of barrel tang. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
