C1840-60 Pennsylvania fullstock rifle with Henry Leman, Lancaster marked barrel. 41" 1" octagon barrel of about .44 caliber bore. Iron parts are uncleaned with rust patina aside from maker mark. Unmarked trade lock. Brass furnishings are cleaned with later replacement toe plate and brass reinforcing plate to forearm bottom. Has tack decoration at rear of butt on both sides. Heart inlay at rear of barrel tang. Simple maple stock is in sound condition, having been cleaned. Set trigger mechanism needs adjustment. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
