M1870/87 Italian Vetterli-Vitali bolt action 10.4mm rifle. Serial number KD4529. Metal parts have fine original blue finish overall with scattered uncleaned rust. Stock is very good overall, with an untouched appearance with the large cartouche of the Terni armory in the right side of the butt. Wood is free of cracks, showing scattered minor handling marks, a bruise in the toe of the butt, and a small filled chip by the buttplate. Front sight blade is absent. Appears to be mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
