Smith & Wesson No. 1-1/2 .32 centerfire revolver in rare original walnut factory case. 3-1/2" barrel model. Serial number 92171. Metal parts have excellent bright original nickel finish with light scratching from handling, and a few minor freckled areas primarily on cylinder and left side of barrel near muzzle. Hard rubber grips are very good, showing light handling. These factory boxes were a limited production and very fragile, leading to a poor survival rate. The black inner label is printed in gold ink, making it somewhat harder to read, but contains similar instructions to the pasteboard boxes. On the bottom of the box, there is a red felt-textured lining that is degraded from age and exposure. The box itself is structurally sounds, with all the joinery in good condition, just a grain crack on the top. The box is missing its front closure. Gun is mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
