Early Manhattan Series II 36 caliber "Navy" revolver. 6-1/2" barrel. Serial number 5601 matching including wedge. Well-worn gun that still has strong traces of the more boldly rolled portions of the cylinder scene. Marked on top of barrel "MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS MFG. CO NEWYORK." Metal parts are lightly cleaned with a light to dark gray patina overall and scattered light pitting. Barrel muzzle is worn round from many years of carry, and the front sight was replaced during the period of use. Wood grips are pleasingly worn, free of cracks, with some worn minor chips to the corners. Mechanically good and surprisingly tight considering the amount of use. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
