Continental percussion box lock pistol. 2-3/4" round barrel of about .45 caliber. Metal parts have a light to medium rust patina with simple engraving on frame and ELG* proof. Nicely checkered bag-shaped grip shows wear and handling with minor age checking. Shield-shaped escutcheon missing from back of grip.
