M1808 Simeon North, Berlin Connecticut Navy flintlock pistol. 10" round barrel of .64 caliber. Equipped with belt hook opposite lock. This pistol is a nice reconversion to flintlock using good quality parts. Metal parts were cleaned smooth, still having a wonderful eagle over U.STATES marking in front of the hammer. Stock is good and smooth, showing some repair work, being a crack below the lock with some glue present at rear of lock, a small rectangle of wood replaced in front of lock, a couple minor diagonal cracks in the forearm edge on left side, and a small piece of wood replaced at tip of forearm on left side. Mechanically good with strong action, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
