"I PITTLE", as marked on left side of frame, early cannonbarrel wire inlaid flintlock boxlock pistol. 2-1/4" fancy round barrel of about .44 caliber bore, about 7-5/8" overall. Metal parts are well-worn with attractively shaped barrel and engraved frame. Grip is inlaid with silver wire, which has one loose wire on the left and one wire missing from the back of the grip and the right side. Grip is very well worn with an old crack by the tang pin on both sides. Mechanically good, though hammer and frizzen spring tension isn't as strong as it should be, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
