US Navy marked Colt Richards 38 caliber revolver. Serial number 2443 on barrel, frame, triggerguard, butt, and rear of cylinder (with side of cylinder numbered 2429). Barrel address is readable but worn. Bold US Navy anchor marking at barrel breech. Patent markings on left side of frame. 7-1/2" round barrel. Gun has an evenly worn appearance with attractive patina overall and some dings by the right side of the wedge. Grips show even wear and use overall with some minor handling marks, and minor abrasion to the butt edges.Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
