22 caliber spur trigger revolver marked on top of barrel "WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CT.U.S". Serial number 4136. Steel parts are cleaned to a light gray overall, brass has a light patina with thinned original silver finish. Cylinder pin is a replacement from a shorter frame Whitney revolver. Wood grips are very good with much of the original varnish present, showing minor handling marks, free of cracks and chips. Mechanically fair, action generally works, but seems unsure of itself. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
