"XX MARLIN STANDARD 1873", as marked on top of barrel, 22 caliber spur trigger revolver. Serial number 6527. 3" ribbed round barrel. Frame has much of the original nickel finish present with some brass showing through. Cylinder and barrel are absent of finish, may have been originally blued, showing some scattered pitting. Hard rubber grips are very good, showing expected wear and use with a couple minor dings, but free of cracks and chips. Functions mechanically when pointed downward but not upward, probably a weak hand spring. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
