Allen's Patent 1837 Norwich ring trigger pepperbox pistol. Metal parts have dark patina with standard engraving and nipple shield roll engraving. This pepperbox does not look to have been used very much, but was stored improperly with some scattered patches of moderate pitting. Wood grips are very good, showing light wear and use with some minor scattered nicks from handling. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
