M1812 Eli Whitney "N HAVEN" marked percussion conversion musket. 42" barrel. Metal parts have a dark patina with uncleaned rust overall, sling swivels and barrel screw absent, ramrod is a nice handmade antique rod. Stock is well-worn and roughly handled, carved "D.B.JOHN 80" in left side of butt, piece missing above rear and at rear of lock, sliver missing on right side of forearm edge between middle and upper bands, numerous handling marks overall and ramrod channel worn through behind rear band. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
