Austrian M1854 Lorenz .54 caliber rifled musket. Untouched metal parts with dark patina overall and pitting in barrel breech area. Stock shows a good deal of wear and use overall, has an old added varnished finish, showing expected handling marks, a small bruised area around the lower band from where the gun was rested while firing, and a wrist break that has an interesting period blacksmith repair riveted through the triggerguard. Sling swivels removed long ago. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
