C1800-1820 flintlock halfstock fowling piece. 38-1/2" part octagon, part round barrel with "wedding band" separator, bore of about 0.60". Reconverted to flintlock. Metal parts have a light patina on the brass furnishings and dark patina on lock and barrel. Stock is well-worn with a smooth refinish, having been broken and repaired in the lock area with a little play, has some chipping along the forearm edge on both sides. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
