English single barrel flintlock halfstock fowler - $650.00

. 42-1/2" part octagon, part round barrel with bore of about 0.55" diameter. Nice quality gun with engraved iron mountings and silver wrist escutcheon, silver barrel key escutcheons, and silver "X" shaped front sight. Metal parts are partially cleaned with some rust and pitting present. Barrel tang is cracked at the screw hole. Stock is good, nicely checkered in the wrist, has a repaired crack in the forearm, and a small repaired chip in the left side of the forearm. Nice horn forearm tip. Antique metal ramrod. Lock still clicks, but is missing the mainspring. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
