Palmer patent bolt action carbine by E.G.Lamson & Co., Windsor, VT. Dated 1865 on lock and nicely cartouched in stock opposite lock. Metal parts have a light to medium patina overall with scattered rust and light pitting. Stock is very good with nice edges, shows light wear and use overall with scattered light to moderate handling marks. Front sight is resoldered in place. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
