Joslyn M1864 cartridge carbine. 22" barrel. Serial number 4139 on tang and 4827 on breech. Metal parts have a light mottled patina overall with cleaned buttplate showing some light pitting. Stock is good, showing honest wear from a carbine sling at the saddle ring, has a lateral crack in the right side of the forearm. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
