Shattuck single barrel cartridge shotgun. 12 gauge, 30" barrel. Barrel shows fine twist finish, bearing marking on top "PAT.MAY.30.93". Frame has fine original nickel finish, showing speckling and worn through somewhat on right side. Pistol grip cap bears "C.S.SHATTUCK HATFIELD.MASS" marking, and buttplate has "SHATTUCK'S PERFECTION" within large letter "S". Stocks are good, showing scattered handling marks and a large worn chip from the toe, associated with a filled piece on the buttplate. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
