W.H.Davenport, Norwich, Conn., falling block single barrel cartridge shotgun. Possibly 16 gauge, with 30" barrel. Marked on top of barrel. Metal parts are mostly a brown patina with some original nickel finish on frame and scattered pitting on barrel. Checkered walnut stocks are good with only minor marks overall, but two major gouges on right side. Checkered hard rubber buttplate has a large piece filled on the toe. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
