Fine refinished Remington M1889 damascus double barrel shotgun. Serial number 53670. 12 gauge, 32" barrels. Barrels have damascus pattern present with added dull finish. Other metal parts have attractive color casehardening and good markings overall. Remington monogram hard rubber buttplate is fine aside from some chipping to the toe. Nicely grained stocks are refinished with gloss varnish. Shows marks from handling since refinish was done. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
