Extremely rare Sharps double barrel damascus cartridge shotgun. Marked on barrel rib "SHARPS RIFLE CO BRIDGEPORT CONN" and "Old Reliable" trademark in enclosed italic lettering. 28" barrels, possibly 12 gauge. Side opening action. Metal parts are a light gray overall with some dings on barrel rib and underside of frame. Stock is well worn with a worn sliver missing from forearm and two thin pieces missing below the locks where the wood was thin. Buttplate is very worn with a crack in the toe that is also in the wood of the butt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
