Henri Pieper double barrel cartridge shotgun. 12 gauge, 30" barrels. Marked on barrel rib "H. PIEPER PATENT 23 APRIL 1881 No 4981". Metal parts were partly cleaned at some point and still show some patina surfaces. Original hard rubber buttplate with Pieper name embossed. Stocks are fair, showing evidence of sanding, chip below right lock and at forearm tip. Extractor absent. Otherwise mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
