Swiss M1878 Vetterli rifle. Serial number 197219. Metal parts have fine original blue finish with scattered minor rust specks. Stock is very good, showing average wear from handling, has some scattered minor marks and a larger bruise at bottom of left side of butt. Stock shows good inspector marks and is free of cracks and chips. Appears to be mechanically good. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
