Springfield M1865 "First Allin" conversion of civil war musket. Original length barrel and stock. Missing breech block latch and cam. Breech block support screw is broken off and support is consequently loose. Metal parts are mostly lightly cleaned with scattered dings. Stock is refinished smooth with a satin finish, cartouches still present opposite lock. Shows a crack to right of triggerguard into lock mortise. Lock does not hold at half cock, functions as expected at full cock. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
