Prussian M1850 percussion cavalry pistol. Dated 1850 on barrel, Suhl marked lock, butt marked to the 5th (Brandenburg) Dragoon regiment. 8-3/4" barrel. Metal parts are well marked with medium patina and minimal scattered pitting. Stock is deeply proofed and appears free of structural cracks and chips. Wood shows average wear and use, may have been lightly cleaned, with scattered minor marks from handling. Right side of grip has a darkened, slightly indented line, possibly from a wire tag being on the gun for many years. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
