Unusual acid etched percussion boxlock screw-off barrel pistol. Marked on bottom of triggerguard "A.V.&G.S". 3" barrel with deep spiral acid-etched pattern, about 7-3/4" overall. Frame is lightly acid etched with foliate patterns. Metal parts have a light coloration overall with minimal scattered pitting. Grip is shell-carved by the frame on both sides with a smooth varnished finish overall. Has a small cracked spot on the left side, possibly a knot in the making. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
