Archer, London, as marked on frame, conversion boxlock pistol. Possibly a pill lock, has an unusually shaped hammer, and does not look like it had a percussion nipple. 4" cannon barrel of about .47 caliber bore, about 9-3/4" overall. Metal parts have a dark patina overall with minor dings and scattered light pitting. Grips show average wear and use, with minor marks from handling and a couple small grain cracks, and a small chip in the corner on each side by the frame. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
