Allen Thurber & Co bar hammer single shot pistol. Serial number 387. 3" barrel, about 7" overall, about .36 caliber bore. Marked on octagon barrel flats. Metal parts are cleaned to a medium gray with scattered granular pitting. Wood grips are good, showing average wear and use with average marks from handling, free of cracks and chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
