"ALLEN & THURBER WORCESTER", as marked on top of barrel, double barrel, single trigger percussion pistol. Serial number 406. 3" round barrels have fine original blue finish. Other metal parts show medium patina with a little untouched old rust. Wood grips are fine, having almost all of the original varnish present, showing scattered minor marks and a shallow bruise on the left side, free of cracks and chips. Left nipple chipped. The Worcester marking is not recorded in Flayderman's guide. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
