Secondary martial flintlock holster pistol. Marked on lock "THOMAS" and British proofed on barrel. 7-1/2" round barrel of about .58 caliber bore, about 13" overall. Metal parts have a light to medium patina overall, with the brass probably having been cleaned at some point and the iron showing scattered light pitting. Triggerguard screw removed, probably to accommodate the long cleaning worm on the ramrod, and a small piece of the sideplate is absent and filled in. Stock is good, showing average wear and use overall, small chip by the forearm pin on right side, larger chip at rear of lock mortise, and a small amount of mortise visible at rear of triggerguard where the triggerguard may have been filed down at the rear. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
