C1780 French flintlock pistol. Signed on lock "A Louvrenbuy" in script. 8-1/2" barrel of about .50 caliber bore, about 14-1/2" overall. Metal parts are a light gray overall with some scattered light rust. Stock is nicely carved overall, showing evidence of light cleaning, broken and repaired in the lock area and near forward ramrod pipe. Small chip missing at tip of forearm on left side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
