British issue flintlock New Land pattern pistol. TOWER-GR marked lock, grip is ordnance marked with broad arrow and date stamp looks like 1835, which doesn't seem possible since George IV died in 1830. 9" round barrel of 0.65" bore, about 15-1/2" overall. Nice marks overall with attractive metal parts showing light patina. Stock shows average wear and use with a small crack repaired long ago behind the lock and an old worn piece of wood missing where the ramrod enters the stock. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
