Whitney No. 1 wide cylinder .22 caliber spur trigger revolver. Serial number 20349B. 2-3/4" octagon barrel marked "WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CT U.S.A/PAT MAY 23, 1871". Barrel and cylinder with 90%+ original blue finish, frame with near 100% original silver finish, showing minor wear from handling. Wood grips are very fine, showing light wear on the high points, minimal evidence of handling, has a small chip to the butt on each side. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
