Smith & Wesson first model "Baby Russian" single action 38 caliber revolver. Serial number 20861. 3-1/4" ribbed round barrel with distinctive long extractor housing. Frame and cylinder have much of the original bright nickel finish, with the barrel having a smooth brown patina. Hard rubber grips show average wear and use with a small crack on the butt of the right panel by the locating pin. Hammer has spring tension, but does not cock, cylinder will not revolve due to stop being stuck in the up position, extractor is not snapping properly. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
