J. Stevens "tip up" single shot .22 caliber target pistol. Serial number 56488. 6" part octagon, part round barrel with elevation adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight. Metal parts have a blue finish that is worn on the high points of the frame and on the sides of the barrel. Wood grips are good, showing light wear and use with some minor handling marks, and a couple minuscule corner nicks. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
