Otis Smith patent .32 rf cartridge revolver. Marked in script "Smith's Patent April 15, 1873," in an obvious attempt to confuse the buyer into thinking it was a product of Smith & Wesson. Unusual top mounted cylinder stop. Serial number 5320, 3" barrel. Metal parts have very fine original finish with case colored hammer, blued cylinder pin, and other parts nickeled, showing minor patches of surface rust. Wood grips are very good, free of cracks and chips. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
