SOLD - French M1763 Charleville percussion conversion musket. Barrel shortened to 33-1/2" with French proof at breech, stock shortened accordingly. Lock, upper two barrel bands, ramrod, sideplate, triggerguard sling swivel/stud are absent. Stock shows moderate wear and use with a lateral crack to right forearm edge behind barrel band. Buttstock is an antique replacement with "Roman nose" profile, attached with two nicely crafted iron straps, top one with partial markings "ULLARD" and "CAS" probably from having been repurposed, and a nicely shaped but very simple buttplate. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
