High condition M1816 L.Pomeroy rifled musket. Dated 1838 on lock and barrel. Deeply sunken cartouche in stock opposite lock and additional inspector mark "S" in stock in front of lock. Marked "T9T" on triggerguard and "HT" behind triggerguard. Metal parts are free of rust and pitting, showing little use. Distinctive cupped head ramrod for minne ball. Stock shows light wear and use with scattered handling marks and one deep scratch in right side of butt. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
