Austrian M1854 Lorenz rifled musket. No markings apparent. Original length barrel with stock shortened about 6" with upper band removed. Original long range rear sight and sling swivels present. Ramrod absent. Original nipple is chipped. Metal parts have a smooth dark patina overall with an overall light pitting. Stock shows signs of having been lightly cleaned with a wrist break that was secured with a screw above and below. There are a couple slivers to the ramrod channel, but otherwise stock is good with minor marks from handling. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
