Spanish percussion miqulet muzzleloading carbine. 26-1/4" part octagon, part round barrel. No markings apparent other than date 1869 on sideplate. Nicely engraved lock with fancy crouching lion hammer. Metal parts were cleaned at some time, showing a mottled patina overall. Stock has been sanded and refinished, with a couple minor cracks. Missing a teardrop-shaped escutcheon in the forearm. Hammer half cocks, but slips off the full cock dog. Sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
