Maynard 2nd Model percussion breechloading carbine. Serial number 20178. Barrel has fine original blue finish with an area midway that shows some pinprick pitting. Frame has vibrant case colors mixing with medium patina. Stock shows minimal minor handling marks with deep inspector cartouches. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
